最新版でも確認しましたが、たぶん間違いかと。。。

$xoopsDB->query('DELETE '.EXTBL." WHERE eidref=$eid AND exdate>$expire");

　↓

$xoopsDB->query('DELETE FROM '.EXTBL." WHERE eidref=$eid AND exdate>$expire");

確かに間違ってますね。でも、これを修正したら、正しく機能しなくなってしまいます。
この行そのものが不要なので、削除してしまうのが正解です。
