I am sorry - I pressed New post button and not reply. I can't read buttons. I should have looked more closely - now I can make some out. So sorry!

I think I set preferences correctly. I tried with two different groups. Permission are set for both for Event Guide Module admin rights and module access rights, etc. Webmasters group with two members: the master Admin and another member. Event Manager group also has two members: the master Admin user and another member. No confirmation email about someone reserving an event were sent no matter what I did. Only when events were added or when I logged in as the master Admin and cancelled reservations did the members of each group get an email. Each member has notifications enabled in their profile. Each member has selected to be notified of an event in the Event Guide. What am I missing? Also, there is no option in the notifications selection for reservations. Only events. Like this:

Notification Options
Category Events
Grobal in module (checked) Notify when new event posted
Current category (checked) Notify when new event posted in current category

I checked all anyway hoping it would work but only notifications for events are sent. No reservations.

Here is my Event Guide module preferences for my last attempt:
Group of Event Post = Webmasters
Notify mail to Admin = Yes
Admin Group for Notification = Event Manager (group Webmasters also did not work)
Do you need to approve New Event = Yes (set to No made no difference)
User requested notification of new event = Yes
Display additional items in list = 3
Event entry need to LOGIN = No
Has confirm page = No
Persons default value = 10
Allow Comments = No (set to Yes made no difference)
Comment Rules = Disable comments (enable made no difference)
Enable Notification = Enable Notification (both styles)

Is there another place I should check settings?

PS: Maybe the problem is my version of MySQL? I am using XOOPS 2.2.4, PHP 4.4.2, MySQL 5.0.18-standard, Apache/1.3.33 (Unix)

I think I solved this. Here is my solution on XOOPS.org.
